Application & Admission Events
We are very grateful for your interest in Saint Michael Episcopal School!

Admission Process
For families interested in SMES for their child or children, we request that a completed application is submitted for each child.
You apply to SMES the fall prior to the school year for which your child is eligible.
We encourage every family to visit SMES to see our SMES Stars and teachers in action. We no longer offer school tours at this time. Our SMES campus tours will resume in the Fall 2026.
Our 2026-2027 school year application is now closed for our Early Learning classes, which includes all Toddlers and Twos classes. We are still accepting applications for PreK 3, PreK 4 and kindergarten. Please click SMES 2026-2027 New Student Application to complete and submit form and $100 application fee for next year. Make sure to select New Student Application once you enter the form.
We hope by looking through our website and with a visit to our campus, you see and feel our four pillars as we Lead with Love, Follow in Faith, Experience Education and Share through Service in all we do at SMES.
Letters of support or recommendation are not required as part of the Admission process. In January, we will notify families about enrollment and waitlist decisions. If your child is offered at spot at SMES, you will be required to accept the offer by completing the enrollment packet and paying the $1000 non-refundable enrollment fee within 24 hours of acceptance notification.
Any child applying to PreK3, PreK4 or Kindergarten will be contacted following the submission of an application to schedule an in-person, small group school visit on a Friday in January or February.
Please see below for our offerings for our various ages. Children may only apply for the following year for which their child is eligible. Children must be 12 months old on or before August 31 of their school year.
We do not have a waitlist prior to submitting an application. We do not roll over the waitlist from one year to the next and an application must be submitted each year.
